Lars Karlsson
A senior IT infrastructure architect and project leader with deep experience in IAM, healthcare IT, public-sector environments, and large-scale technical delivery.
Profile
Lars has spent more than two decades in IT infrastructure, architecture, and project delivery. His path moved from hands-on infrastructure work into project leadership and then into solution architecture — which explains the shape of the profile: technically grounded, structurally strong, and still able to operate close to business and delivery needs.
He is particularly relevant where complexity is not optional: public-sector environments, healthcare systems, identity and access management, VDI solutions, and large organizations where architecture has to survive contact with reality.
Selected strengths
- IAM architecture and secure authentication design
- infrastructure architecture in complex enterprise environments
- healthcare IT and public-sector delivery
- project leadership at regional and large-scale level
- ability to move between deep technical detail and strategic architecture work
Current work
At Miss Prym, Lars works as an IT Solutions Architect focused on infrastructure. His recent work includes a docker-based IAM proof of concept built on Keycloak, using authentication through username/password, one-time password, and BankID for a public-sector end client.
He has also worked within Västra Götalandsregionen’s FVM environment as a solution architect responsible for technical solutions around healthcare client platforms and VDI architecture based on VMware.
Track record
Lars has delivered in and around Västra Götalandsregionen, Region Skåne, Länsstyrelsen, Citrix, DGC, TeleComputing, CSC, and other technically demanding environments. His background includes Cerner-related healthcare platforms, Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, Citrix, NetScaler, VMware, and large-scale migration and modernization work.
